About
I'm a writer!
And sometimes an artist.
But mostly, I'm an Earthling.
I love creating: whether it's stories, t-shirt designs, furniture or other random things whenever I can get the time to do so. Like other humans, I also enjoy walking in the woods, looking at animals, reading fiction and nonfiction, LEGOs, video games, urban fantasy TV series and movie franchises, comic books, tacos, using spreadsheets to create an algorithm to predict the likelihood of whether or not I'll like the next book I read -- typical stuff, really.
My published work includes "The Architect" (Bangalore Review) and "Stone Bridge" (Punt Volat). Lately, I've been increasingly concerned with the environment and the
coming robot apocalypse -- so a fair bit of my writing (what's posted
here and what's lingering in my notebooks) tends to deal with that, but I enjoy writing about other things too when I have the headspace for it. All the stories on this blog are in rough draft form because I write them in one sitting (this way I can clear up headspace more quickly for my longer stories).
I have a completed urban fantasy novel that I'm hoping to publish as part of a larger series that I'm working on. It's about a demon girl whose shoes die from drowning -- at least, that's what she would have hoped the book would have been about because you can buy a new pair of shoes, even if they aren't as great as your favorite pair, but it's not very easy to buy a new life. In the end, -- SPOILER ALERT -- she loses some more clothing along the way, some of which is replaced. Ultimately, the same cannot be said for her dignity.
Thanks for stopping by at my blog. I hope you enjoy the reading,
Logan
